Found a charger for a surface at wood green CEX, but they could not find the charger in-store.

I have a snidey one that works but makes a weird noise if you want to try it (E10)

Thinking of an upgrade before long but still can't find a motherboard I like the look of enough. Currently on a 5950x for allegedly better performance in Resolve (mostly BRAW, some prores 4444, some h264/5). Despite them being flimsier, so many of my peripherals are usb-c type (tb4 etc) and so few motherboards have more than 2, especially with AMD sockets. My b550d has 2 but they're fiddly and a pain to reach. Just want a nicely designed back where USB-C can just slot in neatly without any wobbling around or missing the hole because it's recessed.

I really like the look of the MSI Project Zero motherboards. They've flipped all the connectors to the rear, so with a compatible case (or a Dremel) almost all the dirty cables are out of sight...

If only it didn't have all those pointless incel-clipart looking silver appendages...

I'm still fairly happy with the way my Vision BB50d looks:
with matchy (visually) ram and a vision 3090
then black case with black tinted glass side. Case is corsair 4000d airflow

Was really easy to build and not monstrous. And yes, it sits on my desktop so I can more easily access ports (don't use hubs, though probably should).

I'd be interested in a custom desk with inbuilt rackmounts but seems unlikely to happen. I may suck up a 2 x TB4 port mobo and get into hub lyf for a cleaner desk. I've got some nice OWC hubs I use with laptops on the road but never bother at home.

But yeah, going back to that ProArt case, I like the look of their full builds tbh (visually, not spec unfortunately):

Tbh that looks like my perfect board - displayport, 10gb + 2.5gb ethernet, 4 x m2 ports, THREE usb-c type ports inc 2 x 4...

And it's AMD.
