I know why they didnt, but its a shame they kept the ugly box on the front and didnt restore the orignal frontage. Always makes me a bit sad to see so many shops in london were once nice frontages/gardens that covered with a later box. It was done really well for Malpaquet House

Yeah, that ugly old shop front is probably 10sq meters of floor space - that space is probably worth £500k alone in Barnsbury!

I don’t understand who is going to pay that much money to live in that part of tower hamlets. Those houses always intrigued me though.
