Ooooff. What a diss lol. Win Wing is going on a Pinarello Grevil. That's like saying I'm putting a Corsa spoiler on a Lambo.

Let's see. I had mudhuggers before but they didn't fit this asymmetrical frame. The idea with these half guards is that they only cover the portion of the tire that typically flings up mud and nothing more.

In my mind, they'll offer good enough protection for a minimal fit/design.

From riding with people using them, they're pretty good at keeping your backside clean. Unsure about 'dry'...

Mudguards are in direct conflict with the spirit of gravel. Fact.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the win wings, got them on my gravel bike and they do a good job of keeping me clean (do nothing for a rider behind though)

No experience of Win Wings, and agree the name is fucking awful, but, imo, guards that keep your arse dry but little else do have their place.

I imagined that I'd ditch the 'guards for Summer, but I know I won't be arsed. With the weather as it's one less excuse for not getting out.

It's already been in Anti so now I've just embraced the lifestyle.

I think that's a title, not a nickname.

Elvis on the other hand was nicknamed The King. But he's dead, which is conclusive proof that mudguards are shit.
