A friend and I did an Imperial Century around a bit of Cambridgeshire and a whole lotta Norfolk today. In broad terms Ely>Feltwell>Great Massingham>King's Lynn>Outwell/Upwell>Ely. We hit a vertiginous 100m altitude in Norfolk.
The weather was glorious and the pub in Great Massingham still serves a very good pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord. And my legs lasted for 130km, after which I had to take a tow into the headwind for a while until they were reinvigorated by the sight of Ely Cathedral in the distance.
Absolutely right. Impressive. It's my favourite part of that ride, although I'm not sure why. The fact I usually stop off for a quick pint at the pub in Great Massingham when I do that ride might have something to do with it though.

All in all, a grand day out.
