One was a bit sticky. I’ve got it cleaned up and is now working better. Not perfect, but better. Do people also lube the pistons a bit? If so, with what?

A small dab of brake fluid. If you've got a cotton bud, just dip the end of one of those in and carefully apply it to the piston.
