Would N.Herts be too far a trip,?
I've a small Trek 6500, good serviced condition and it's been well cleaned, new cables/saddle plus a new stem which gives options for a more upright position for when they get taller. it was orig for my grandson but he's already bordering 6ft and tbh I gave him a bog std steel Raleigh as he just smashes bikes to bits in 5 seconds flat!STX derailleurs+chainset which is a 42/35/22, gripshifters but engage really well, 12-28 Cassette. Replacement V brake levers but there's a Deore V on the rear and unmarked alloy front which bring the bike to a stop easily even with my 15.5 stone on board.
QR front and rear, light wear on rims (Matrix and Weinmann), excellent slick front and a small knob on the rear which is cracking a bit but perfectly fine. I can also include a good condition light treaded tyre as well.
11.1kg as shown so decently light.
44cm c-t, reckon about 5ft 2 upward, top tube is approx 73cm from floor to top of the tube where you'd stand
£125

Thanks for all the details, that looks like a fun ride. Unfortunately too big for her, she is 147cm so vintage 26’ bikes won't fit, modern 26 bikes are kid sized.

Not a MTB but I have this 26" cross bike which my son used at the HH off road club.

My daughter has outgrown her 24 inch mountain bike. She has moved up to borrowing 26 inch bikes when she rides the trails at Herne Hill. Does anyone have a kids MTB in this size they are looking to move on? Rigid or hardtail. Low weight is a priority.
I'm London based, happy to collect.
