Yeah, they look insane don't they.
Lots of tubular deals, some Bora ultras on £200'ish with a day left, maybe go for £400 too?... but I don't know if it'll become a curse when a puncture finally comes.

If you have tape/glue and tyres tucked away I'd go for it, fitting tyres isn't as tortuous as people make out. Can always go full old-school make do and mend and unpick, patch and stich a flat tub

I'm dipping my toe in the water on a Specialised trispoke that is tubular - taking the original off to carry as a spare and fitting a new one with tape... we'll see how it goes.
I find tubeless tyres a pain in the neck anyway.
