Is it a council or private PCN? If it's private you're probably better off just paying it unfortunately. I used to deal with all the PCNs at my old job and never managed to successfully appeal one from a private company, they're ruthless!

It’s a faff. But looks like MET are one of the companies that will refuse the appeal, send a couple of ominous looking letters then fold at the last minute.
Whether you want to play the game is up to you. It’s the parking ticket equivalent of pissing around with getting a decent broadband deal.If it’s the sort of thing that stresses you out then it’s maybe not worth the bother. If you’re happy knowing that both sides are just ticking off steps on a script and that, despite all the bluster, the worst case scenario should be you only end up paying the initial reduced rate (and wasting some of yours and their time)… then crack on

Anyone use downham leisure centre / met parking places in Lewisham?
how do you appeal charges from them?
There’s an issue with dropping off swimmers and being charged. And also parking when the centre is closed but having to wait for kids.
How do you beat / appeal these?
