• Q1 Should I lower my Forester?

Q2 Should I put different wheels on it?

Q3 Or should I just leave it the way it is and stop being a massive ponce?

Q4 Should I get a new muffler for more vroom-vroom-choo-choo noises?

This is fun. 🤣 Lovely day for it today.

Just enjoy the shit out of it for a while first. Keep any spare pennies for unforeseen mechanicals. Year down the line revisit above Qs

  • No, yes, no, no.

If you want to do the 'zorst go from the dump pipe out and get a proper system to avoid drone.... Being an auto it'll sound like a floppy jowled mastiff snooring.

If you do, go browse the GFB catalogue for blow off valves and wastegates.

    I'm all for wheels though.

  • A5 You should go full anorakDriza-Bone(?) and slavishly obsess about ensuring it is 100% original and period correct.

  • i debated lowering mine when i replaced the shocks but as it's not a 'sporty' one i decided to keep it standard height. however, i think the sti foresters deffo look better lowered - the body kit and arch gap don't really work for me.
how much for a set of coilovers?
as others have said though, probably best to run it for a couple of months and sort out any niggles before getting into mods.
