Damn, been watching the F1 and had this on the tablet. Switched priorities now, massive end to the frame.

Yeah, that was weird. Playing it off a cushion and not immediately conceding a foul looked like a better option. Leaving a pot on wasn't a concern.

In the circumstances trying to double that black doesn't seem a great choice either, and not just with the hindsight of it missing.
