  • Worth noting that if you’re using a laptop with a hard drive vs an SSD, you can damage the disc by jolting it around when it’s in sleep mode. Ask me how I know…

  • If the former, just ensure it’s turned off and not asleep when it will be exposed to bumps and shocks.

  • If it’s a new laptop then it’s an SSD.

    Spinning discs in laptops haven’t really been a thing for ~10yrs
