Some really nice looking groups on that display, and then there's AX. Shimano was high when they did that one.

Also, yes to bringing back gum hoods. Also silver groups.

I really should put my 7700 group on a worth frameset.

Perhaps I'm being too harsh, because you're right. Some of it really does look pretty nice and was an interesting departure aesthetic from classic to smother and "aero".
