I stopped to help somebody today with their chain off and wrapped round the back of the cassette. It was well and truly wedged in there and no amount of pulling was going to free it. Fear not there was a quick link so if I split the chain I could get a bit more pull to free it, but oh no! I had no tools. Bummer. But I do have a bit of paracord on my key ring. Thread the cord through the links either side of the QL tie a not in it and twist the cord tight with the keys. The link splits, I pull the chain free, reconnect the chain and away they ride. Good deed for the day done. I should be in the fucking A Team. Also no pics as it was pissing it down.
