Road fixed / fixed road

This has been my main commuter/winter hack for a few years. It’s a Dave Hinde Columbus SLX frame that I powder coated in ‘Turkish Delight’ pink.

Cool build. What‘s the deal with that QR skewer on a 7600 Front Hub?

I bought the hubs on Ebay and the front one came with that set up so I left it. Makes it easier for fixing punctures!

Back in rainy day mode. Please ignore the long valve stem and excuse the stem, my spine isn't what it used to be.

Nice but it's mostly intended for drop bar fixed "road bikes"

Fiddled about with my Shorter track bike to make it a bit more Audax-appropriate.
(I wanted more comfy brake hoods and better vibration absorption on the bar tape)

I'll leave it like this as it makes for an excellent all-year-round commuter.

Yes, the man is a machine. Shattered his hip too iirc not even 1,5 years ago. And a couple of years (decades?) more under the belt than the average on 'ere. Madness.

Been commuting into London on this for several years. Getting fitted mudguards a few years back was the best investment ever.
