I am sick of people putting drop bars / levers on obvious mountain bikes to "gravel" bike them, when all it does is ruin the bike and clearly makes the bike NOT fit them (too stretched out)

I would go even further. Let's put more flat bars on gravel bikes!

Yeah! And slightly higher gears so they can handle more road duties. And maybe we can give them a name that shows that they are some kind of mix between disciplines.

solid advice, I tried riding my bike with only one tyre once and it did not go well

Maybe even a slightly too heavy and not really useful suspension fork with very little travel?

I’ll say it, I love my hybrid, it’s the absolute business.
A vainer man than me would consider it a flat bar gravel conversion but they’re just kidding themselves.
It’s pretty hideous so I guess it’s acceptable to post it here.
