Here in a rare late substitute appearance while loitering in the motorcycle thread, but my understanding of how the parachute payments work is that a relegated club gets 55% of the total available payment at the end of the first year in the championship - if they don't get promoted. If my understanding is correct, then Leicester, Leeds and Southampton won't have had their payment yet (but might have borrowed against it), and Leicester won't get it, but hopefully Leeds will...
Having said that, Ipswich have been brilliant and I hope they get a point on Saturday.

If we don't get a point at home against Huddersfield we don't deserve to go up.
If we actually finish ahead of Leeds and Southampton, with their squads and their parachute payments... McKenna is ma ager of the century, let alone manager of the season.
