I find the sizing all over the place. 3 pairs of bibs in medium - all good. I should have sized down to a small in the merino tee, and the medium jersey I ordered was much too tight for comfort, needed a large I assume but just returned it.

^sorry to read this (both), that does sounds weird - both mens sizes? I'll pass this on, personally (male, medium top, large leg) I've found sizing consistent with Rapha. That wind gilet does sound like an outlier, v intrigued.

Awesome, see you this evening!

Yeah, men's sizes. Absolutely no problem at all. Just glad there's people making great quality stuff. Well done. Can only imagine how difficult it is!

So hear me out… mini burners but they go in your shoes on cold mornings, then you pull them out on the move when things start to warm up. And pack down really small obviously. Could they be a thing?

Toe covers?
-
• #1635
Electrical tape over the vents?
-
• #1636
I would guess no. The space between shoe and foot is too tight, anything with insulation will be pressed flat and not super effective at insulating. And pulling something out of your shoe on the move sounds like a disaster. Toe covers on the outside are your best bet, and they do make a difference.

You guys doing this again at HHV this season?

@Chopsicle are you doing any fun Daytripping tees this year? My tie dies getting a bit worn out!

Photo was better in my mind, but got to use the Mountain Backpack this morning to carry a loaf of bread and some Apple Turnovers home.
Love that it's so small and light to carry in bar bag for instances just like this.

@user67526 did you get to the bottom of this? either DM me details, or email customer services - be intrigued to know what has gone on here
@ElGonzo always a pleasure, cheers for coming to HHV to pickup your bibs. @ojwithbits next planned one is June 5th, and I think we'll be doing a musette making workshop. Details on HHV and Albion Burner IG nearer the date (signup will be required, with a small donation to HHV). Will be doing repairs again later this summer ...plus another central London event in June tbc
@Rusty_Nail I did try some under (non-windproof) winter tights, on the thighs, and as described, there was v little effect. Because the insulation got compressed, it didn't really merit the effort - I think if they were on the 'outside', allowing a bit of puff, you'd get the insulation effect you're after ...I'd presume same with shoes/overshoes as people describe
@RonnieOatmilk cheers for posting, love it, use mine daily.
Daytripping! I'd love to do some more, different colours, bear with me!
...and yeah! @cozzzzzzzz I actually need one for the big rack on my city bike. The spaced out wide rails do my nut some days. I'll jump on that other thread when I have a sec...

Thank you and the team for the repair, super grateful! it was great to chat whilst keeping half an eye on the track league action. I'll definitely go to the musette making workshop and if there's to be a list for Daytripping 2.0 t-shirts, stick my name on it!

@Chopsicle If you might impart some knowledge?
I sewed a patch on to my dry bag which was a bad thing, I should have glued it but thought given it was going to take a beating sewing would be better not realising I was creating holes in my waterproof barrier🤦Wondered if you could recommend a glue for patches? The Albion heat reactive repair kits work well..I really want something akin to that I can apply myself.

Thanks for checking in. I just think the sizing guide was off as the medium fits really well. Have the medium now. Lovely thing.

Ha, the one that fitted was cut off by a paramedic when I broke my back a few years back . That's actually a woman's medium belonging to my partner 😂

@Chopsicle Is the merino riding tshirt going to be stocked in any more colours besides the (nice) pine green?
Ordered a wind gilet last week. Am 5' 10" and 65kg and when measuring before ordering, was square in the middle of the small size so ordered one of those. There's tight and then there's TIGHT so it's had to go back and have ordered the medium. Reckon the suggested sizing might be off or the labeling on the one I got was wrong. Looked lovely though and can't wait to get the new one.
