The general period is a rabbit hole I've gone down before, it's good TV and I think I'll be all binge caught up over the last 2 days in time for the final tomorrow.

The book is SO good that I struggled to get into the series. Might try again, I like the director.

...but now they've announced a spinoff Star City showing the Russian POV from the 60s which will presumably cross over with the early seasons' narrative and characters 🤞

Just finished Passenger. Regretted it when I discovered it was all just a set up for the second series.

The Guardian piece about the best hour of TV ever (post 9308 above) lays a false trail. Which is only fitting for an article about a spying series. There's a claim that it's episode 4 of The Game. But I've just binged all 6 episodes and the best one is clearly the last one. Nothing at all wrong with episode 4, it's excellent build-up. Perhaps it would be better to claim that The Game is the best series ever?

A few esp into Severance. It's definitely gripping. Although part of that I'm sure is wanting an answer to the absurdity of the whole thing.

I know it's sci-fi, but I'm having to suspend a lot of disbelief.

The aesthetic is cool tho.

I'm only just finishing episode 1, but I'm also very impressed. Can't wait to watch more.
