I haven't been down there since it started, but I've noticed the 73 has been on diversion for a while. It's obviously a known problem that when you leave a site alone it will get damaged, as sites often are overnight. I doubt that people driving over this will cause bad damage (or the contractors wouldn't have taken the risk). I find it annoying when drivers do that sort of thing, too, but I wouldn't reinstate the barriers myself. It's a job for the contractors.
