  • Another clearing out post, this time it might attract more interest... Not touched my 1Zpresso JX-Pro since getting the DF54 and the reality is that there's no point in keeping both, so now looking to shift it.

My understanding is that ~£100 is around the ballpark but happy to hear what you think is a fair price.

@MCamb half jokingly dibs'd it back when I mentioned I might be looking to sell it once the DF arrived, so happy to give him first refusal.

Only ever used for espresso, it's in very good nick and has always given me consistent results. Can post photos later on.

  • How do you find the DF54? I am currently using a Wilfa Uniform, but I struggle to consistently get espresso with as there are only two useable steps. I'm considering binning it off and moving to something more espresso focused.

  • Been really enjoying it! Espresso on mine is between around 10 and 20 on the dial, most have been 14/17. Half “steps” (it’s stepless but you get the drift) do make a useful difference and aren’t so close to be faffy, I’d totally recommend it for espresso.

Still getting to grips with what to expect in terms of extraction variation per step but it’s been straightforward so far. No idea in terms of going from espresso to filter as I never have filter, but it’s able to do both. For the price it’s a bit of a no brainer I think!
