Watson is back next season, well he is how he is may differ, and I can’t see how him and Watson mesh at all. Just chalk and cheese.

Bomani jones has a theory that you can’t have a white qb backing up a black one, that the calls from the fans to bench a black qb when their play dips will get too loud. And with the browns and the contract they’ve given Watson they can’t allow that to happen, if they’d brought back flacco to be in that qb room after the season he had, Watson would have been under pressure from the jump!
I haven’t gone through every roster but the ravens spring to mind when they used to run the Lamar Jackson and Tyler Hundley (sp?!) combo.
Think this theory will be put to the test over the coming seasons with the amount of young black qb’s coming into the league..

He's a good guy for the QB room and has a reputation as a good egg and good for morale / mood / vibes. Can ball out if called upon and Stefanski is good enough to limit his mistake prone ways. I think that the league consensus is that it is good signing. Like I just said, Stefanski and Berry are doing a good job with what they have.
