The problem here is despite having ideas of grandeur. I’m not that fast.
@RabiCycle sounds like my usual turn.
Although I’ve stopped tumble turns, my races are all open water and getting a kick every 25m seems like wasted meters i ever see in the sea.

My sister (a national level junior swimmer in her time) has been known to overtake particularly annoying slowpokes in the fast lane by fly-kicking underneath them on her back.
