For sale: Classy Japan-made Nexus hub-geared 7speed hub-brake wheelset. Sick 80s Shimano, shiny rear hub still looking lovely, model no SG-7R40. Front hub has oxidised but will polish up with some love. Hub brakes working nicely, as does hub gear. Shifter seemed shady so might need replacing, Nexus 7 grip-shifts still cheap & easily available I think.
Solid touring rims for 28-40C tyres, true and ready to go. 36holes natch. Front Mavic T221, rear decent quality unbadged, slightly wider and beefier. Both true and undamaged. Connectors, adjusters and two torque-arm P-clips present for chainstay/fork.
PM to nab them, dibs schmibs.
