Commentators were saying Lipowitz was on the radio, potentially asking if it’s ok to go for the win. Surely what ever he was talking about over the team radio was probably a distraction and cost him the race.

Good talent but a tad naive maybe?

If he was on the radio to Jez Cox the race would have been over and the podium presentation finished before he got a word in.

Fun afternoon watching the start of La Vuelta Femenina yesterday. Today they go up my local climb (depressingly only a cat-3), so mulling over how to bunk off work early and ride the route before they get to it.

Also those Visma time trial helmets are somehow even bigger in real life. Maybe because the women are slighter in build but they looked monstrous watching them line up before the start gate yesterday.
