A pruning knife is very ergonomic for cutting apples. Blade length 3 3/8" on this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Spear-Jackson-Gardens-Razorsharp-7946KEW/dp/B00VX2KRBG/ref=sr_1_9?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.tUt7zrr9G_YJLXwomcIgGlsyWRF1brVXv9rGklPixcKVj9NlVtJKPvr4K9eSpholFLa-ZSYVMMhT-6C_7LJx9bS2zvjB4VyEzidXds5noEouDF2PBcwzIJ8sX8bl2rlamm5OR3LKO8lxNY6ZdOHYrsbS2AFu3kq7kOVmqr17i8GSva2oRsCbnTg7sf8f82DTXkFeViFnQxGncsLZuSKTUt2Jt7a7CF26q_xp4VHF8oBUFM0PQ5ACwUHy0sYBF63Wl704EQne_DjcLlWLEVn9NdqNxfpPODeDmnSxT65vR9o.KnfYqXC5EcFHBsrrph9Pn7EzDFYDc5Qafh6elPXbJLU&dib_tag=se&keywords=grafting+knife&qid=1714246472&sr=8-9
Any recommendations for a nice, classic, wooden cheeked folding knife? Want something crafty for apples and cheese.
Something like the Otter York but maybe a bit cheaper

Blade might be a bit short on this case though

Have kids, would rather it be not too ‘stabby’ on the end. Needs a 3-4” blade for getting through apples properly
