Good point. A blank canvass (or don’t browse properties when slightly drunk)

They really don't like it when you call it the southernmost part of the north.

My step dad lives there (ex-BT engineer) and my mum did too before she passed (ex office cleaner). Certainly not posh!

My girlfriend left her life and marriage in London to move to Stroud. I don't live in Stroud, but I want to: Beautiful environment, full of lefties, vibrant town centre with no empty shops, mostly independent establishments, bustling Saturday market, and even a direct train to Ldn.

The car centric bit makes it a bit hard.
A kiwi mate chose living in Borehamwood (where we live) using https://www.locrating.com/ - basically working out where they worked, what their budget was etc. Idk if it's still viable, as its pivoted towards schools, but it might be worth a look.

^^ Stroud is nice.

Obviously not but it’s very different from other Kent coastal towns, they all have a different personality, it’s no Folkestone!

Stroud is nice
It really is. Moved here 18 months ago from SE and we couldn’t be happier. The cycling is absolutely brilliant too.

Stroud's like Whitstable, locals all get priced out with London money.

So for that matter is London
This may well be a good suggestion but that house is not selling it
