I don’t know tbh. And I don’t think there’s any real data for a CW at this price point yet.
They’re also going to bump up against the big issue at this price of people not being able to check it out before buying. Though they have a free “return it if you don’t like it” policy, right? Don’t know how long you get though. Edit: 60 days. Though it has to be in “perfect, unused” condition.

My understanding is it's their movement. I have it in one I got, C60 abyss, which was about the same price.

Ah, they were merged with a Swiss movement manufacturer. It is quite impressive that they’ve gotten it to market, though I wonder if they look at it now, with its twin barrels and 120 hour power reserve, and wish maybe they had made it a bit thinner… I guess watch industry fashions have changed a bit since they started designing it.

Didn't Zenith already make that?

Damn that's fast. Thank you!

the Patek in-line perpetual calendar (5236P) is a big deal
It's an interesting watch. Quite an achievement. I was expecting it to be very expensive on the second hand market. But there are 43 of them at C24, many of them priced at 20% below retail.

My first and only automatic.
It reminds me of the health bar on old school n64 goldeneye.
The strap has been changed and is now a slightly lighter tan.

My C60 abyss is 16.5mm. The Twelve is 12.5mm. Seems they've been working hard on thinning it.

I suspect the transparent dial construction and power reserve module they added made it thicker than normal.

Ah okay thanks. It is a beast, all be it a nice one, but perhaps a bit thick for my little wrists.

Quite strong citizen series 8 vibes too.

That strap suits it.
Never been able to work out what the dial graphics are supposed to be for on those, it's like the section you'd get on a diver bezel but obviously doesn't really work if you can't rotate it. Best guess is it's meant to look like a car tachometer with its red zone/line.

Scratching several different itches with this little guy. Difficult to take photo that does justice to the sheen on the dial. It's really beautiful.
The accuracy on this thing is rougher than your mum's hen night, so might have to shell out for a repair in the near future – which may or may come up to a significant fraction of the value of the watch itself. Thanks to whoever recommended Fluco straps, cannot comment on longevity, but feels good on the wrist.

I know of someone selling a black one if you’re interested?

That’s really really good. 34mm or 36mm?

You mean a non stainless ballistic plastic one? (Or whatever it’s called), might be, how much?
They’re calling it in-house, I don’t know if it’s based on something else. If they’ve created a new movement from scratch I think that more than justifies the price.
