Haven't tried giro road but had some giro MTB and they were like boats on my feet.
With that said, I see plenty of people in the Rapha shoes so can't just be pointy feeted people like me that suit them.

I have spade feet, made worse by breaking one of them a few years ago and Giro are the only cycling shoes I can comfortably wear . Definitely not a narrow fit in my experience!

I'm the same, I have a couple of pairs of the lace up Giro knit shoes, and they are super comfortable.

Maybe a bad pair of giros.

This has made it very clear… refund policy to the potential rescue.
