  • I let my heart rule my head and bought this 1990 GT outpost with plans to fit a 1x 'ring, some Billy Bonkers tyres along with coloured cables and a Wald basket to make it a nice fun commuter, unfortunately, it's way too small for me.

    Measurements are...

    13" C to C ST
    17" C to T ST
    22" Eff TT

It's pretty unusual for a GT of this era, and I have not been able to find any information on the colourway or the frame design. As it's so small it negates the trademark triple triangle, has a seat tube that extends several inches above the top tube and is braced by a tube at the front and a plate gusset at the rear. The rear brake is a chainstay mounted U Brake. Groupset is 200GS, everything works perfectly. it is still fitted with the colour-coded high-rise GT branded quill stem. I have checked and the seatpost, BB and stem are all free and easily removable.

Bad bits - its got some chips and scratches, though it is 34 years old! Foam grips are hideous and spin on the 'bars, saddle has been stripped and fitted with a gel cover, seatpost seems to be undersized, although there is no damage/cracking to the slot at the back of the seat tube.

I am based in Norwich, but am happy to ship anywhere in the UK, I may need a day or two to find a box to pack and ship it in.

I'm asking for £150 including shipping, but am happy to listen to near offers.
