It’s nice, but is it $1699 nice?
Are rando bikes the next gravel bike?

Are rando bikes the next gravel bike?
I hope so! Especially if they all have mud guard mounts and look like this

Tbf it doesn't look much different to a Trek 520 without a rear rack, and a few nicer parts.

It's discontinued.

Yes, being the same colour will do that

Not always to be fair.
The geo etc is very similar though betwixt the trek and the ritchey. But I'm only being silly.

I've been looking for the geometry for the Montebello. Has it been released yet?

The smaller sizes seem longer than the tall farans.

After the trek 520 tease, it's interesting the ritchey is a touch shorter wheelbase, but has a touch higher head tube, surprised about that!

Red is clearly the best colour for an Audax bike, I was considering moving this Roberts on, but maybe it’s going to come right back into fashion (cockpit set up is for parental jobs like towing trailers etc).
Always liked Ritchey steel since I had a couple of Logic Prestige-tubed mtb’s… the Montebello looks pretty sorted. A breakaway option would be interesting.

what size is that roberts?

56 seat c-t, 56 effective top tube, measured horizontally from top of headtube.
I have been agonizing over which Fairlight to buy for almost a year but if I can make the geometry of the Ritchey work I will pre-order it straight away. Fairlights have really nice
details and the geometry options are great but they look like farming equipment.
