A question about Air Tags and similar devices -
I want to leave an instrument at a place that is shared by many people.
The risk that somebody steals the thing is not very high, but I do feel a bit uncomfortable -
I considered hiding an Air Tag inside, to be able to locate / track the thing - but what I'd really need is to get some sort of notification if / when it's actually moving / moving away from the place it's stored.
As far as I can tell Air Tags don't offer ths functionality.
Are there similar small and not overly expensive things that allow me to do that?
Or are there third party software tools that add this functionality to Air Tags? Thanks in advance!

That's what I thought! But the last pack I got were white, I swear. Maybe they have several different suppliers.

Going downhill on rough tracks my GravGravXL bike has a knocking/rattle from the front end.
It also has brake judder braking hard on smooth tarmac.
I’m guessing this is head race bearings as it seems to go when they are tightened however this doesn’t last for long.
Am I right? If so are there any more robust headsets?

Stock headset? Very likely loose bearings and dont think they pack much grease in them.
I do like Cane Creek BUT hate that their crown race is not split.

Nothing a dremel and fine sandpaper can’t fix ;)

Tech support: There is someone living in America who's keeps signing up to stuff using a Gmail account with an extremely similar name to mine: mine is firstname.surname@gmail.com and his is firstnamesurname@gmail.com.
Gmail ignores . and + before the @ but says that you shouldn't receive other people's emails. I get his emails periodically - usually for services he's signed up to. I assume he couldn't have registered the email address he's using so it's possible that he's using my email address to fob off anyone asking for his email - but it also sometimes looks like it's services that he wants. Does anyone know what I can do about this? Presumably nothing.

discussion here any help?

He's probably just typing his own email address in wrong. Maybe you can track him down on Facebook, if you can be bothered.
I get these kinds of emails too. Usually it's spam, but sometimes it seems legit. I usually just ignore it

Yeah, or he typed it in wrong once and it's saved as an autofill in his browser so he keeps doing it by accident. He's very interested in buying trucks and cruise holidays, and he recently got a private investigator to run a background check on someone. Sounds like a charmer

Tell the PI you're doing an experiment and you want him to find out as much as he can about you
-
• #121740
"You've already got my invoice details - please spare no expense"
-
• #121741
Tell the PI you think it’s time to carry out the hit.

There is a lady out there who keeps giving out her phone number incorrectly to people, and instead gives them my wife's number. So my wife gets calls about doctor appointments, haircuts plus lots of other spam calls asking for the other person. Annoyingly it has been going on for years.

I get loads of these where I assume their incorrect email (my email) is just being autofilled in. I've contacted some of the people (eg through there lawyer when I get send contracts to look at ?!?!?!) but it still happens. Not sure what to do. I have a guy in the UK, one on OZ and a couple in America where I get their hotel and flight details sent to me, insurance, family photos, kids school reports, work quotations, threats of eviction, the works.

One of my Gmail addresses that used to get the odd 2nd hand diggers sale list and Oregon forestry information has just got a bunch of gentlemen's dating site signups. It's very manly stuff.
But the best one I got was from a regional French council politician to her bit on the side. I actually replied back to her on that one because it was so personal.
think I need to ask the pharmacist for that one
