Just went to pick up the gravelish bike from Brixton Cycles after a tubeless setup.
Front rim and tyre covered in sealant and very flat. Probably due to holes in tyre.
They are going to try again, with patches and plugs, whilst I pick new tyres as a contingency plan.
Any reason why I shouldn't spend £160 on a pair of Rene Herse Barlow Pass, which I covet? Apart from crazy fucking price?
Any decent cheaper alternatives I should consider, in 700x40ish not knobbly, mainly road, some canal path and disused railway?
You answered your own question. Fuck paying that for tyres.
