Shouldn't be a problem ( its a floor model but basically brand new)

I've taken my wife (55kg) in the front of our UA a few times. It works but she's not a fan. I think it inevitably feels a bit sketchy in the UK mixing with SUVs sitting at wheel arch height, unless you have access to beautiful Dutch cycle lanes of course.

Austrian cycle lanes are not quite as good as Dutch but pretty good ( fully divided, lit and maintained) at least in our city. I have had my wife on our other cargo bikes: nihola, babo big and on my long tail. But because of the specifics I basically had to order the bike sight unseen.

Does anyone have the Ortlieb duffle bag for the Omnium? Any experiences, is it good?
I'm thinking of getting the 110L version and just shoving every single dry bag in there for bikepacking.

Don’t have the ortlieb one, but have this from Lomo (https://www.lomo.co.uk/products/60l-dry-bag-holdall-black/) as it’s essentially the same single compartment waterproof duffel bag with welded construction but a lot cheaper. Doesn’t have the nice attachment straps admittedly, but I rate it. Use it to just throw everything in, although the roll to opening could be a little wider I sometimes find if it’s fully packed.
I think it (or any large waterproof duffel) would be perfect for cargo bikepacking, chuck everything in and go!

This is the least sporty tank of a bike i have ever ridden. Rides like a 70‘s Cadillac car

this is exactly what I felt ..

Lol but having said that i have no regrets as the wife has not been happy about how daughter and i ride together. May ditch my longtail and stick seat on the back of another bike. Also it was only €1300 brand new lol

absolute bargain. Also they're sick bikes once you get used to how it handles. Also I think one of the best upgrades for them is the rohloff hub (which you already have?)

Just back from Paris. SO MANY CARGO BIKES. Quelle surprise.
-
• #13737
Yes i have a low milage hub its just not built up. I may wait to swap it as they are honouring the full warranty on it.
Is there a better handlebar setup for them? OR just the standard swept back?

I like bullmoose, nice n stiff n a bit sportier. but anything that puts you a little more in that position is good. didn't get along with the original bars at all.
used to enjoy painting them on slow days at work ':)

What, is that box/seat setup??? Looks wild. Ok that confirms my thoughts that i need something a lil wider with les sweep. feels extremely twitchy with the current setup.

random photo off the web- its a design that Pedal me use for carrying people and cargo. I don't work there anymore, the bikes were really great though

Always brings a smile to my face when cruising around on this beast.

I do like a mini. Strongly considering one myself. They look ideal for commuting.
I love my big cargo bike, but sometimes its a bit much for just nipping to the shop.
What size is this one?

Love that. I built similar for my partner last year - sold it for a quick sale to exchange for an electric Katu for summer rides. Really regret it!

1300EUR for a brand new urban arrow is ridiculous.

They’re fun around corners though, the weight and looong wheelbase 😅

This looks so fantastic, much want.

Lol yeah. They even threw in like €500 of accessories. Some minor issues, need to re attach the spring for the kickstand and the head unit has a dead battery nothing major.
-

For the head unit have you tried plugging it in via usb?
they're solid, just make sure your tyres are pumped up enough
