  • Yeah, I don't think this is gonna work. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤯

I'll take it to Matt tomorrow. This may explain why the Mojaxe didn't work either. I think the studs have been moved to accommodate the bridge that's always been on there so I'm probably stuck with it.

As well as two very expensive bridges.

Crazy thing is that the cock who did the refin and broke the neck put new plugs in for the studs as he found they weren't mahogany and a bit crap. Why he didn't move them to the correct position, I don't know. Ugh.

I should've left it as it fucking was.

  • That's an utter cock and balls. At this stage I'd find a good local metal worker and get them to make you one that solves the problem...

  • Potentially stupid question... have you got it upside down? It it reversible? It looks like the gaps between the bridge posts and the outside strings is quite different on the bass and treble sides?

EDIT. Yes it was a stupid question, but I'm claiming back some credibility for noticing the offset string holes. Just looked at the Music City website and it says of the Studfinder.

"This bridge is designed for instruments with severely offset studs. If your studs are parallel or slightly offset, the Savvy will be the best fit for your guitar"
