  • So Ive been having an issue with my 1zpresso for awhile. Basically the threads are getting effed and i cant get the bottom cup on. I did drop it once - so I dont know if that is the source of the issue.

To me what it feels like is that because the top part of the grinder isnt accepting the bottom cup, the threads are becoming compressed and warped. Then this makes it even more difficult to put the cup in. Can be seen in images here: https://share.icloud.com/photos/02dryOlgGl0ECDrHJMCJFVlRg

Contacted 1zpresso and they offered to repair it (though I'd pay postage both ways). They cant guarantee that it can be repaired. Is it worth it? Is the grinder dead?

  • Threads at the top of the cup look a bit mashed, it looks like there is at lip forming at the top which I don't think mine has, but looks like the body is ok, maybe just a replacement cup is needed! I'll take a photo of mine when I get home later for comparison!

  • Thanks. I can order a replacement cup ... $25 + $30 quid shipping. which feels like a lot for a solution that might not work?

will try filing that top lip down.
