I was trying hard not to comment ...but ... could Rob Hatch get his tongue any further up Luke Rowes arse ?
It is like a ‘ bro ‘ drink in at an All Bar One
Shame because Luke Rowe has some of the better insights than most of the Disney/GCN commentators. -

Once again the women’s race so much better than the men.

Great shots. MVDP clearly wanted that.
Did your partner enjoy it?

Cannot figure out Discovery Plus at all. No extended highlights of Liege Bastogne Liege at all showing for me, mens or womens. Just shitty 7 minute highlights or the full races. In fact the most recent extended highlights I can see are stage 4 of the Tour of the Alps, not even stage 5. Am I doing something wrong?- because if it's still like this by the time of the Giro it's barely worth it for me, as I can't watch every stage live due to having a non desk based. Very frustrating, costs more but much much less functional than GCN or Eurosport

Vaguely interesting to see the full MvdP post race press conference

^^I think the LBL highlights are on at 10.30. The Tour of the Alps stage 5 highlights are available.
Since you can replay the whole stage you can always create your own highlights by fast forwarding, it's fairly easy to know when the interesting bits are going to be.

If you’re on the discovery app, they even highlight / mark attacks etc on the search barz
-
• #49292
The one attack on that search bar tells you everything you need to know about the men’s race today

This is what I did in the end, watched from about 40km to go. Be nice if they put up highlights of the races a bit earlier though, being as this is about the only place you can watch cycling on TV in the UK - it's not like it's a minor race.

Nuts he hang in there despite opening up at from the front at ~200m out and clearly pretty cooked.
Partner actually had a really good day out and “it’s more fun than me shouting at the telly”. Really nice atmosphere but not too busy, plus she spent lots of time trying to get us all the freebies. Her main observations:
- cyclists look like they have big tummies when they’re in the drops
- Tadej would never be served a pint without being IDed
- Tall Dutch and Belgians make it tricky to see and should let smaller people go to the front of barriers
Also I got a nice new hat courtesy of her as a treat. Liege was dead as you said but cathedral was cool

Happy Birthday @WillMelling

You can tell they are sincere about it, because they have used the word birthday four times in as many sentences.

Have I read the Romandie website wrong or is the prologue flat and under 3k?
