What could I use instead?
Taper drift? Conveniently has a hole in it for a retaining wire so it doesn't wander off.

Put up a shed, it's got a hasp and staple latch. I won't be storing anything stealable in it, and want easy/quick access, so don't want to fit a padlock.
What could I use instead? Thought maybe a carabiner. Have currently wedged a hand-fork in there
