  • Yeah that's my worry, might keep saving for some minimal carbon options but i like the shape of the VO/Iris.

Never considered it a problem on my King stainless cages but yeah they've definitely worn away graphics on bottles.

  • Are there any lowered side entry bottle cages, or do I have to use a cage lowerer which annoyingly eats into my horizontal space.

  • Zefal Wiiz have a lot of adjustability, effectively they let me put the cages so low that I haven't needed any lowerer anymore.

  • Anyone have experience of these Arundel stainless cages? https://www.arundelbike.com/product/stainless/ I love the look of my King cages but in my experience they do scratch/rub bidons, wondering if these might be any better. As above, maybe that’s just going to happen with all cages?

  • You're gonna get that with any cages. In my experience it's dust, road grime and dirt on the cages that scratch the bottles. I've got titanium, carbon, plastic, they all scratch eventually.

  • Yeah you’re probably right. Just new/clean King Cages scratched the graphics on some brand new bottles on the first ride which was a bit gutting!

  • There is no better cage than this

  • Any suggestions for a bottle cage for mountain biking? I put a Blackburn Outpost from my road bike on there and lost a bottle within an hour.

  • Fidlock?

  • Never had a bottle ejection from a King Iris.
