Trump keeps falling asleep and farting. His legal team are assailed by the smell. Allegedly.

Serves them right, they’re all real pieces of work.

The colour scheme on the floor seems familiar somehow…

Why is there a man in the background dressed like a brick wall?
-
• #17583
He probably thinks it's a powerful riff on building the wall.
-
• #17584
I’m guessing it’s a not so subtle reference to ‘build the wall’.

What insight did their son Reid provide?
-
• #17586
He was able to connect with the Donald on an intellectual level, peer to peer.

The NYT reports from the courtroom:
“Trump is struggling to stay awake. His eyes were closed for a short
period. He was jolted awake when Todd Blanche, his lawyer, nudged him
while sliding a note in front of him.” -

Does he have to be there every day, throughout? How long is it expected to last if?

By all accounts the flatulence is quite unnerving

Yes.
Six weeks I think.
Ha!

Not surprising given his diet of burgers and outrage.

Yep, criminal trial so, as the defendant, he can't come and go as he pleases.
He is clearly hating every single second of it.

does it need a unanimous decision, or will a majority convict ?
- the stormy daniels payment trial, he's got so many going on at the minute.

Unanimous only. No majority verdicts for criminal trials in the US.

Trump has the game theory advantage in terms of jury selection. Both sides would benefit from sympathetic jurors, but trump only needs 1 juror secretly manipulating things for him or to find him Not Guilty in order to go free, where the prosecution needs all 12 jurors, sympathetic or otherwise, to find him Guilty.
There are some defences against a rogue juror, but assuming a trump insider weren’t an idiot (big assumption, yes) they could find ways bringing others into their thinking.

yeah this is the worry ^
hopefully they can come up with some blatant , irrefutable e-mail or phone call where he's caught literally saying this is to a(e)ffect(?) the election, it must be difficult to prove 100% otherwise, maybe he was just trying to hide his embarrassment or keep melania from divorcing him and taking 1/2 his money

Yeah, but the advance for the memoirs would be massive.
Something about a vote on war package later today?
