Hell yeah, have fun! I'm also in the "get to the airport several days before your flight to be on the safe side" brigade. The sooner you get to the airport, the sooner you can have an unacceptably early, unacceptably expensive pint.

I’m in the it’s 10 minutes before the flight leaves I’d better start packing side of the fence. Thankfully Liz is the opposite is like you. Although left to my own devices I’ve never missed a connection.

The only flight I've ever missed was because I stayed up all night, drank a litre of cooking wine and fell asleep directly outside the gate. Nobody to blame but myself. That was also the earliest I've ever got to an airport.
