I'm assuming that's because it's a co-op game and anything which helps you finish/win the mission, they are for. But really it distorts the gameplay, if you're playing with someone who cheats as blatantly as that, then you're not playing the game as it was designed to be played, and you'll never be sure that you're actually getting better at it, the whole "git gud" thing. Also developer might start balance patching off the distortion that cheats are injecting into the game making it harder for non cheating players to complete missions.
sorry if 'm just repeating what you're already thinking/thought. One of the reasons I kinda enjoy single player games, its just me and my skill level versus the game rather than others fucking with it..
