I've heard this thinner/thicker rotor thing before but aren't hydraulic brakes self adjusting so surely rotor width isn't a factor. The lever throw doesnt change as rotors wear/get thinner.

I think you can bleed a brake up for Xmm of rotor width though and if you then fit a thicker rotor it'll be rub city right?
