Currently finishing off some exhibition design work before getting back onto making bottle cages, but today I got fed up looking at a computer screen and started making my new rack. Can't wait to finish it. Will be a massive improvement over my nitto M18.
Also I did some cycling this eve. Felt good. Might do some more soon.

Thanks guys.
Meanwhile, another afternoon where not sitting in front of the computer was more exciting than working. My tiny linisher bailed on me so no more deburring edges before I get a replacement. That meant I started forming the ones I had already sanded. Easy work.

I like this hydraulic press setup so much, it even has an ergonomic handle

I was getting blisters so had to do more padding. Next up is an automatic hydraulic press

a fly press would be quicker and generally more useful for metal forming tasks, I would suggest, if you can get hold of one

I had one at my old work in London. They are not very common in Denmark so very difficult to get hold of second hand. I have some left over heavy duty lead screw I have been thinking about using for a fly press, but I think a more moderne elektronic hydraulic press is probably more sane

I'm not familiar with Nalgene but are they that good that they deserve a custom bottle cage? Is this for a 1 liter bottle?

1L Nalgene and Kleen Kanteen wide Mouth are same size diameter and highly popular among bike tourers/packers and they are likely to be attractive to the same people who fancy framebags which was the whole starting point for my bottle cages

I'm one of those who doesn't own a proper cycling water bottle but only nalgene and KK as they are more versatile so I'm very interested in this (as I said you via IG)

Depends on how it fits IRL. Haven't gotten that far but I am eu48/uk13 in shoes so I suffer from heel strike if bags ar too far down or close to the seat tube.
Obviously I'd like the cargo as low as possible and make it easier to utilise the top part of the rack for a tent or similar
