Bench was never cool. I used to skateboard as a teenager and my sister wore Bench.

Is Bench purely a TKMaxx brand these days?
Worn exclusively with those slip on Lonsdale sneakers (Sports direct specials)

Perhaps I'm miss remembering but Bench was a skate brand in the early 90s, before everybody started wearing it.
I'm not going to say it was cool, but you could only get it in skate shops in that early period.

Looking in to it, turns out the guy also runs Nicce. That's explains why it's so basic

Bench would have got you ostracised as hell when I was skating in the late 90s, early 00s in Oxfordshire, was as lame as Quiksilver or Airwalk.
CC in Oxford was ace, only place to get your insanely baggy Road jeans and Fuct brand shirts etc. had no idea it evolved into Superdry. -

Fucking hell. And this got ignored for super dry chat.

I’m sure I remember it being advertised in RAD / early Sidewalk maybe, so I lumped it in with whatever else I saw next to it. Also bought a Bench longsleeve from the one intimidating boutiquey fashion/skate shop in my town that also had Fuct decks for sale, where I wasn’t allowed to buy Slap magazine.

I almost forgot how cuntish kids were (are) to each other about clothes and fitting in. We didn't have skater kids looking down on ppl at my school but I remember the bullying on non uniform day.
In 90's South Cumbria you could only get bench from that shop in Barrow that we all thought of as a designer shop so it was cool.

I remember there being a decent skater-ish shop in Kendal. Also Blue Tubes in Lancaster. Mecca if you were from the North West was surely Afflecks Palace. Non uniform day won hands down.

Rollersnakes in Nottingham/Derby for me.
Non-uniform day was removed at my school (at least for a time) after my year decided to come in the most outlandish fancy dress possible, as it wasn't stipulated you couldn't. Sitting there in assembly, melting in a huge penguin costume was a highlight of my school career... CSB, etc, etc.

Is this Ms Froome screenshot real? -
• #87191
Seems so: https://road.cc/content/news/michelle-froome-deletes-social-media-muslim-rant-chris-froome-307847
Didn't know she was his agent, seems like an unwise move from someone in that position.

That Road CC precis of what she said sounds like she's totally lost the plot.
Also, apparently her first post since her last one in 2020. -

"they are happy to claim the benefits but will not integrate into those communities. They will continue to TAKE what suits them. They are a drain on modern society."
Said by someone who lives in a Monaco tax haven, top lolz

I, for one, am shocked that a rich, white South African has racist views.

My prediction is that there will enough Palestinian flags along the great tour routes this year to cover the whole race end to end.
I wouldn't condone deliberate disruptions to the race or aggression towards anyone with Israeli flags, but beyond that, use your one second of screen time for what its worth. -

Was way way more islamaphobic, you know the Muslims are taking over any country they enter. Then talking about how Islam is anti women/trans/divergent rights while forgetting the good old USA Poland/Hungary.

The thing is that they believe that. Wholeheartedly.
