I haven't tried the terra speed so not particularly much help but I do have the terra trail which are remarkably similar tyres. The knob pattern is the same but ever so slightly taller so they will have a bit more grip and a little more rolling resistance but with that said, over the late winter when it was too wet to ride in the slop, I was using them for 50k road rides only and they didn't feel slow at all. Only a few kmh down on my road bike.
