This is some of the stuff I’ve gathered so far. In less some cheap SS brake leavers turn up I’ll be using the Gevenalles and a down tube shifter for the front mech when I’m ready. Also waxed a chain for the build too.
@D_Mars thanks. For that, like it, I’m hoping to keep things on the “sporty” side, my x2 chainset is currently a very ambitious 53/38.
@kjlem yeah, I’ve been on the lookout for 6months. I’m a bit of an unabashed surly fanboy, already having a roller, a midnight special and a retired crosscheck, but have struggled to find a pacer so far. I currently have an all city Mr Pink with a pacer fork. I’m not totally sure it’s going to be a keeper long term. It’s one of the ones with a Pressfit BB I had no idea a steel frame had been made with that standard.
