If it didn't, the youtube video would have been pretty self incriminating anyway then since he admits to accelerating for the 50 and you're right, it doesn't change for another 150 meters at least so basically confesses to speeding.

Hate to say it, he may have thought that, but he was still a quite a long way before the 50 sign.
