BSA is Birmingham Small Arms, an historic manufacturer of guns, bicycles and motorcycles. BSC is a thread specification derived from the earlier CEI spec, featuring a 60° flank angle and 26TPI pitch for most sizes above 1/4". An ISO threaded bottom bracket uses the thread form of BSC with a pitch of 24TPI and a major diameter of 1.37"
None of the Isen models have BSA BBs.
It does happen that Paragon thread a bb shell incorrectly but it is extremely rare.
Not to doubt your anonymous messager but without sharing proof, there's not much point in posting about it here.
