Well it’s the Kurt Cobain anniversary so naturally they’re celebrating all the music he wrote. Including all of Hole’s music which Courtney didn’t write

I saw Hole a couple of times back in the 90’s. They were shit. There were some great songs which as you say she didn’t write (Violet is fucking great) but the way she’s feted as an icon is fucking nonsense.
There’s this recording at a gig from around that time taken from the desk of her vocals and her guitar playing, isolated from rest of the band. It’s hilariously bad. Sound techs used to turn her guitar down at gigs to spare the audience.
