Lochnagar circuit via Loch Muick would be my choice, great walk. You don't have to do all the Munros on the route, can bypass and come back down via the waterfalls if weather is bad, or fancy making it shorter

If you can get a lift up to Derry Lodge (or cycle), you could get into the Lairig Ghru, nip into the corrour bothy for a tea, up the devils point and even return via glen dee if you fancied a longer day.
You could also head up glen derry towards the lairig an Laoigh/hutchinson hut and bag a peak(s) on the way/way back.
I’ve a week in the Cairngorms in May/June, staying at Braemar.
Any recommendations or tips on hikes? I’ll have a 10 year old with me who’s capable of distance and height (Lomond/ Snowdon type stuff or Suillven last year for example), but I’d avoid anything technical.
